Here is what makes our trees different:
LOCALLY GROWN
We grow our trees from seedlings and bare root stock in order to offer large, viable trees.
MULTIPLE ROOT PRUNINGS
Before trees are ready to plant, they undergo multiple root prunings, resulting in a resilient product that is acclimated to the local environment.
ATTENTION TO THE ROOT FLARE
We understand that the tree's well-being is dependent on a healthy root flare area. Planting the flare slightly above grade ensures proper drainage and ventilation.
NORTH SIDE MARKING
The south side of the tree is more elastic, giving it the ability to compress and decompress. If the position is changed this can cause splitting, sores, or other problems that may impact the tree.
